View an Excel file (XLS) anywhere.
If you need to view an Excel spreadsheet or a Word document and you don't have Microsoft Office, just email the document to your GMail account, go to the new message, and click on "view as HTML" by the attachment. Helped me out today. (Tip from labnol)

Grand Perspective.
I've found a great tool for seeing what's on your hard drive. Grand Perspective gives you a treemap a folder or drive you select.
I cleaned up another 1.8 gigs today and last night. I've been through my hard drive a few times in the past with du, as part of my work to find space for more photos on this several years old powerbook.
