I was honored to witness a performance of ”The Pirates of Penzance by my cousin’s high school. It was amazing! Two hours of pure energy - I’ve never seen a play with such force from the cast.

I took pictures during the performance, averaging a picture every fourteen seconds over the two hour play.

Disorienting

When it’s a grey day and there is NOTHING to take a picture of and you are walking down a path you walk eight times day, every day….

Phonehead

“Hey Phone-head,” shouted the boy after I’d chased him around a little bit. His parents were moving and I was helping. “Phone-head, phone-head, phone-head!”

I was puzzled, why “Phonehead”? I’d not even pulled out my Treo, nor touched a phone in his sight. A few hours later when everything but the couch was into the new house, I was enlightened. My new nickname was apparently “Bonehead!”

Grey World

After coming back from traveling south of Cuba, South Carolina seems drab at first sight. Of course, it is in the middle of a hard winter here - the thermometer reads 50F. Still, we’ve had lots of beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

Tulum

We went by the Mayan ruins of Tulum. The buildings are cool. There were a lot of tourists - Tulum is “the third most visited archaeological site in Mexico”.

At Sea

Today we are traveling down the Florida coast, with shipping and small boats everywhere.

On the Ship

I had two meals and eight deserts in the first seven hours after boarding. I’m stuffed.

We are now on the Norwegian Majesty cruising down the east coast and sharing the ship with three hundred grey haired women, each with a purple dress, a red hat, and a bottle of beer.

Nissan

Overcast skies, dreary weather, and dealing with really lousy tech support.
