<p><a href="http://www.usatoday.com/travel/news/2006-07-19-cruise_x.htm">‘We thought we were gone’ says cruise passenger</a></p>
<p>A massive lurch to the left on the Princess cruise ship <em>Crown Princess</em> sent 94 passengers to the hospital. <a href="http://www.azfamily.com/news/local/stories/KTVKLNews20060719_cruise-ship.3f4cd15.html">The ship was on its side for about 30 seconds.</a></p>
Princess cruise lines is one of the last lines I’d cruise on. Their crews don’t seem to care, and are under prepared. Bad things happen to the ships (This is the second “lurch”) and fires tend to burn much more of the ships than they should. If a cruise ship of a major line ever sinks, it will probably be a Princess ship.
<p>The scheduled movie that night was “Titanic”.</p>
<p>The Coast Guard was first notified of the incident by the mother of a passenger aboard.</p>
